Together we scrutinize script(s) and assess the feasibility of coproducing the project in Belgium, given your  preliminary budget and artistic ambitions.

To do so, we take into account possible Belgian locations,  facilities, postproduction studios (incl. VFX), talents and crew.  First scouting of  locations is done to test the plan. In case of post-production, we share our  insights into possible studios.

Once jointly aligned on a plan, Beside commits to helping you reach greenlight by allocating  resources for a budgeting exercise.

We collaborate to crack ideas and words into figures & commitments.

Phase 2: Count and commit

Beside's Production Team turns the “what can we do?” into “how much will it cost?”. In  close collaboration with your team, our line producers rationalize  and optimize the budget. Artistic and budgetary choices lead to a "Belgian Budget" we agree upon.

Intentions are then laid down on paper: a deal memo confirms our mutual commitments, including Beside's financial contribution and operational  responsibilities.

With our help, greenlight is reached and the production is ready to go! We now stand beside you.
3. Production/Post
In a constant dialogue with you, we manage all aspects of the Belgian production.

Phase 3: Pay and make

With  your input, a workplan is  refined and finalized. We hire key crew members, negotiate their terms and deal with all payroll issues. Locations are secured, studios are  selected.

and.... ACTION!

We oversee and update the joint planning, providing regular cost reports and managing the cash-flow of the local spend. After shoot completion, we accompany the  project all the way to delivery.
